Looking at the world, more and more disasters occur. Our humans' life is so fragile and can't stand a single blow in front of disasters. January 31 brings a lunar trifecta: the super blue blood Moon! Starting at 5:30 a.m. Eastern, NASA TV will offer a livestream of the Moon. This full moon is the third in a series of “supermoons,” when the Moon is closer to Earth in its orbit -- known as perigee -- and about 14 percent brighter than usual. It’s the second full moon of the month, commonly known as a “blue moon.” The super blue moon will pass through Earth’s shadow to give viewers in the right location a total lunar eclipse. While the Moon is in the Earth’s shadow it will take on a reddish tint, known as a “blood moon.”

I ask for nothing but doing God's will. The dream for thousands of years is just to meet the Lord when He comes back. The path of believing in and loving God is not always smooth; when we meet setbacks and failures, don't lose our faith in God! Amen. Hope we pray for Chinese Christians and may God give them faith and strength. 

In recent years, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has continued to escalate its persecution of Protestant and Catholic home churches, and listed The Church of Almighty God as a particular target for its oppression, carrying out widespread arrests and persecution. Many Christians have had no choice but to leave their homes behind and become itinerant, and some have even been forced to flee to democratic countries overseas to seek political asylum. Consequently, the outside world has gradually come to know the truth of the persecution they’ve suffered, causing great concern on the part of some international human rights experts, religious scholars, and professors; they have also made appeals on behalf of these Christians who have fled. However, the governments of some democratic countries have disregarded the truth of the CCP government’s persecution of Christians as well as international society’s condemnation of the CCP, rejecting Christians’ asylum applications with a variety of reasons. This has resulted in a very low acceptance rate of Chinese Christian asylum seekers in Europe. Some have received removal orders and some have even been sent back to China. Professor Raffaella Di Marzio, who is in charge of the Center for Studies on Freedom of Religion, Belief and Conscience in Italy, has researched and analyzed the issue of the rejection of persecuted Christians’ political asylum applications by some democratic governments.

As a Chinese in abroad, after listening to Chinese Christians crying out the Chinese government's persecution, seeing the fact that Christians are being persecuted by the CCP, I clearly know the true colors of the CCP of its atheist regime. It is obviously that there is no human rights and freedom in China. I admire those Chinese Christians so much, for they aren't be shaken by the harsh environment. Chinese Christians, hang in there!

Wang Dongdong started to believe in the Lord Jesus along with his parents since he was little. In 2001, his whole family accepted Almighty God’s kingdom gospel. In 2011, his elder brother was arrested because of believing in God. Wang Dongdong and his parents were forced to flee their home. In 2012 when he was in exile, he heard the news that his mother passed away due to sickness while hiding from the hunting of the police. Wang was arrested by the Chinese SWAT officers in 2013 because of preaching the gospel, and he was tortured by them for three months and eleven days. After his release, he had no choice but to flee abroad in order to escape from the CCP’s persecution.

The drama The Most Wonderful Blessing is the story of a preacher in a house church. European Parliament Concern Over Asylum for Persecuted Christians From The Church of Almighty God

China’s deteriorating freedom of religious belief has long been a focus of the international community, which has repeatedly condemned the Chinese Communist government. The suppression and persecution of religious belief by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has continued to escalate since Xi Jinping took power. On June 27, a conference entitled Freedom of Religion or Belief and The Right to Asylum: The Case of China was held at the European Parliament in Brussels. During the conference, it was reported that freedom of religious belief in China has reached its worst level since the Cultural Revolution. At least 1.5 million people—including Xinjiang Muslims, Tibetan Buddhists, Catholics, Protestants, and Christians from The Church of Almighty God (CAG)—have been arrested and sent to prison or re-education camps for no reason other than their faith. The conference also pointed out that the CCP’s systematic persecution suffered by The Church of Almighty God Christians has been especially severe. These Christians have been arbitrarily detained, tortured, and imprisoned; some have even died or been left disabled as a result of their mistreatment. In Recent years, the situation of the religious freedom in China has been worsening. More and more Christians have been forced to flee to other countries to seek political asylum because of being unable to bear the CCP government’s persecution. As the true facts of their persecution by the CCP are gradually being known by the world, some international human rights organizations start to give them attention and appeal for their status. From April 6 to 7, 2018, an annual meeting of the International Society for Human Rights (ISHR) was held at Gustav-Stresemann-Institut in Bonn, Germany.The theme of this annual meeting was “Focusing on the humanitarian situation and religious freedom in the Middle East.” Some human rights activists, religious figures and representatives of persecuted Christians were invited to participate in this meeting.
