The Word of God | "The Substance of Christ Is Obedience to the Will of the Heavenly Father"

The Word of God | "The Substance of Christ Is Obedience to the Will of the Heavenly Father"

Almighty God says, "The incarnate God is called Christ, and Christ is the flesh donned by the Spirit of God. This flesh is unlike any man that is of the flesh. This difference is because Christ is not of flesh and blood but is the incarnation of the Spirit. He has both a normal humanity and a complete divinity. His divinity is not possessed by any man. His normal humanity sustains all His normal activities in the flesh, while His divinity carries out the work of God Himself. Be it His humanity or divinity, both submit to the will of the heavenly Father. The substance of Christ is the Spirit, that is, the divinity. Therefore, His substance is that of God Himself; this substance will not interrupt His own work, and He could not possibly do anything that destroys His own work, nor would He ever utter any words that go against His own will."

Why Are People Addicted to Their Phones?

By Yang Yang

One day, I read a popular saying online that went something like this, “The farthest distance in the world isn’t the other side of the world, it’s sitting next to you while you play with your phone.” No matter if you’re on the subway, on the bus, in a restaurant, or on the streets … at any time of the day, you can always find a certain group of people, phubbers. They have a phone, tablet, or some other gadget in their hand as they watch videos, play games, or look at their friend feed, and their members are primarily young people.

As technology has developed, the internet has made our lives much more convenient. People can buy what they want without leaving the house, or they can contact different people without going out. But what is brought about by the convenience of the internet? Let’s take a look at the relevant reports.

"Perilous Is the Road to the Heavenly Kingdom" (1) - Eastern Lightning Shakes the Religious World

Eastern Lightning—the appearance and work of God in the last days has rocked all sects and denominations, and all kinds of men have been revealed. Many good sheep in the church would prefer to suffer unbridled arrest and persecution by the Chinese Communist Party just to seek and investigate Eastern Lightning. Some people, however, believe the words of pastors and elders and persist in refusing to investigate Eastern Lightning, while others, though being fully aware that Eastern Lightning bears witness to the truth, do not dare to seek and investigate it out of fear of persecution by the Chinese Communist Party. Why are good sheep in the church able to investigate Eastern Lightning? Are those people who are unable to seek and investigate God's work in the last days able to enter the kingdom of heaven after all? This short video brings you inspiration.

What Is the Difference Between the Work of the 12 Apostles of Jesus and the Work of God?

By Liu Yi

  The Appearance of the Apostles

Some people define apostles as people who undertook a mission and spread the Lord’s salvation. If we study the Bible carefully, we will easily find that those who served God in the Old Testament were called priests or prophets rather than apostles, and that the word “apostles” first appeared in the New Testament.

believe in God,Bible,Eastern Lightning,the truth,life

In the Age of Grace, when the Lord Jesus was doing the work of redemption, He selected the twelve disciples. He personally led, watered and shepherded them, and took them everywhere to spread the gospel of the kingdom of heaven. Under the Lord Jesus’ leadership, the disciples gradually had some knowledge of His work and words and became certain that He was the coming Messiah. After the Lord Jesus was crucified and resurrected, He appeared to the disciples for forty days, and commanded them to spread His gospel of redeeming mankind to the whole world so that everyone could gain His salvation. Because they accepted the Lord Jesus’ commission, they spread His salvation far and wide; these disciples were later called apostles.

Gospel Movie Clip "The Gospel Messenger" (2) - Christ Is God Incarnate

For the last two thousand years, although believers in the Lord have known that the Lord Jesus is Christ, that He is God in the flesh, no one has been able to understand the mysteries of the truth pertaining to what God's incarnation truly is and how we should know the incarnate God. This is why, when Almighty God of the last days became flesh to come do His work of judgment, some people treated Him as if He were just a regular person and refused to accept Almighty God's of the last days. People are very likely to lose God's salvation of the last days this way. It is evident that understanding the truth of incarnation is critical for welcoming the Lord's return.

God Presides Over the Fate of All Mankind

the church,God’s work,God’s will,Eastern Lightning,salvation
As members of the human race and devout Christians, it is the responsibility and obligation of us all to offer up our mind and body for the fulfillment of God’s commission, for our entire being came from God, and it exists thanks to the sovereignty of God. If our minds and bodies are not for God’s commission and not for the righteous cause of mankind, then our souls will be unworthy of those who were martyred for God’s commission, much more unworthy of God, who has provided us with everything.

God created this world, He created this mankind, and moreover He was the architect of ancient Greek culture and human civilization. Only God consoles this mankind, and only God cares for this mankind night and day. Human development and progress is inseparable from the sovereignty of God, and the history and future of mankind are inextricable from the designs of God. If you are a true Christian, then you will surely believe that the rise and fall of any country or nation occurs according to the designs of God. God alone knows the fate of a country or nation, and God alone controls the course of this mankind. If mankind wishes to have a good fate, if a country wishes to have a good fate, then man must bow down to God in worship, repent and confess before God, or else the fate and destination of man will unavoidably end in catastrophe.

Why Does God Take the Name of Almighty God in the Age of Kingdom?

God’s will,Jesus,grace,The Church of Almighty God,Bible
A lot of people don’t understand why, since Almighty God is the return of the Lord Jesus in the last days, the Lord Jesus is called Almighty God when He comes to do the work of judgment in the last days. Why doesn’t He carry on being called the Lord Jesus? In fact, God has a new name each time He does a stage of His work. This new name is taken by God Himself as befits the work—it is not something that people call Him as they please. The name God takes in each stage of work has its basis in the Bible. The name of the returned Lord Jesus of the last days was long ago prophesied in the Bible. Isaiah said, “And the Gentiles shall see your righteousness, and all kings your glory: and you shall be called by a new name, which the mouth of Jehovah shall name” (Isa 62:2). In the Book of Revelation, it was also said that “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write…. Him that overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God: and I will write on him my new name” (Rev 3:7, 12). “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, said the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty” (Rev 1:8). “And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunder, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigns” (Rev 19:6). The name of Almighty God of the Age of Kingdom is the complete fulfillment of the prophecies of the Book of Revelation. The name that God takes in each era has profound significance and is intimately connected to God’s work during that age. Almighty God revealed the mysteries relating to this when He said, “In each age, God does new work and is called by a new name; how could He do the same work in different ages? How could He cling to the old? The name of Jesus was taken for the work of redemption, so would He still be called by the same name when He returns in the last days? Would He still do the work of redemption? Why is it that Jehovah and Jesus are one, yet They are called by different names in different ages? Is it not because the ages of Their work are different? Could a single name represent God in His entirety? In this way, God must be called by a different name in a different age, must use the name to change the age and represent the age, for no one name can fully represent God Himself. And each name can only represent God’s disposition during a certain age and needs only to represent His work. Therefore, God can choose whatever name befits His disposition to represent the entire age. Regardless of whether it is the age of Jehovah, or the age of Jesus, each age is represented by a name” (“The Vision of God’s Work (3)” in The Word Appears in the Flesh).

Questions and Answers on the Conditions for Entering the Kingdom of Heaven (4)

Question 4: All of us have believed in the Lord for many years, and have always followed the example of Paul in our work for the Lord. We have been faithful to the name and way of the Lord, and the crown of righteousness surely awaits us. Today, we need only focus on working hard for the Lord, and watching for His return. Only thus, can we be taken into the kingdom of heaven. That’s because in the Bible it is said that “for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me” (Isa 49:23). We believe the Lord’s promise: He will take us into the kingdom of heaven at His return. Could there really be anything wrong with practicing in this way?
the church,God’s work,God’s will,truth,salvation
Answer: In watching for the arrival of the Lord, most people believe that they need only work hard for the Lord, and follow the example of Paul, in order to be directly taken into the kingdom of heaven when the Lord arrives. To them, it seems right to practice in this way, and no one disagrees. Yet we who believe in God should seek the truth in all things. Though practicing in that way is in keeping with people's conceptions, is it in keeping with God's wishes? I think we should know: God's words are the principles of our actions, they are the standard by which all people, things, and matters are measured. If we practice according to the words of God, we will surely receive God's approval. If we go against the words of God, and practice according to our own conceptions and imaginings, then we will surely be detested and rejected by God. Can we really be directly taken into the kingdom of heaven by watching and waiting and working hard for the Lord? Let us look at what the Lord Jesus said “Not every one that said to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven: but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name? and in your name have cast out devils? and in your name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess to them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity” (Mat 7:21-23). In the words of the Lord Jesus we see that the Lord Jesus only said “but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven.” He did not say that all those who are faithful to the Lord Jesus’ name and work hard for the Lord will be rewarded, and enter into the kingdom of heaven. Is this not fact? The Lord Jesus didn’t say that people need only work hard for the Lord to enter into the kingdom of heaven. To me, these are our conceptions and imaginings. If, as in our conceptions, all those who keep the Lord’s name and work hard for Him will enter into the kingdom of heaven, why were some of those who preached and cast out devils in the Lord Jesus’ name condemned as evildoers by the Lord? This shows that working hard for the Lord is not necessarily the same as doing the will of God. And why is that? Because many people work hard for the Lord so that they might be blessed, and not for truly obeying God. Their satanic disposition is still there. They still have conceptions about God, and still disobey, oppose, and condemn Him. Some even hate the truth, like the Pharisees. No matter how hard they work for the Lord, how could such people do the will of God? In nature, such people oppose God. To enter into the kingdom of heaven simply by working hard for the Lord, this is intolerable to Heaven! Don’t you all agree?

Footsteps of the Holy Spirit | God's Word "Only Those Who Know God and His Work Can Satisfy God"

Almighty God says, "Knowing the work of God is no simple matter: You should have standards and an objective in your pursuit, you should know how to seek the true way, and how to measure whether or not it is the true way, and whether or not it is the work of God. What is the most basic principle in seeking the true way? You have to look at whether or not there is the work of the Holy Spirit, whether or not these words are the expression of the truth, who is testified to, and what it can bring you. Distinguishing between the true way and the false way requires several aspects of basic knowledge, the most fundamental of which is to tell whether or not there is the work of the Holy Spirit."

Only by Satisfying God’s Final Requirements Can One Be Saved

God’s-wish,Meaningful Life, word of God, Jehovah, Jesus

God’s Ten Requirements for His Chosen People

The practical standard of entry into life is to satisfy God’s requirements, and the greatest reality of man’s entry into life is to satisfy God’s final requirements. Regardless of how deeply a man has entered into life, if he fails to meet God’s requirements and lacks real testimonies in his trials, the reality he has is empty. All of those who believe in God know that entry into life refers to entry into the truth, and that only when one has entered into the truth will he have reality. Because the truth is the life of man, only he who truly understands the truth and lives out the truth is a man who has entered into reality. Then what is the greatest reality of entry into life? Anyone who pursues salvation must know it clearly. Most people only pursue to have entry in certain aspects, but they have not truly entered into God’s requirements, especially the most critical requirements of God. What do you call this? This is called “giving up a goose for a feather.” Does barely having entry in trivial matters mean that you are standing firm in your testimony? Does it mean you are obedient to God? Does it mean you are faithful to God? Does it mean you are someone who loves God? If you fail to achieve these results, such entry of yours is worthless. If you are seemingly obedient in minor aspects but are not truly obedient to God’s will and cannot satisfy God in His requirements, this kind of entry of yours is meaningless. The work of God is to change man’s life disposition through judgment and chastisement so as to achieve the goal of saving man from the influence of Satan. Since this is the work that changes man’s life disposition, there are criteria for receiving salvation. Some major requirements that God finally makes of man are the criteria for receiving salvation. Now we all know some of God’s requirements, which are actually His major requirements for His chosen people. The first requirement is what God required of us at the initial stage of His work. Whoever expends himself for God wholeheartedly shall receive His blessings. This is God’s earliest requirement for His chosen people. Whoever expends himself for God wholeheartedly shall be greatly blessed by Him. The second one is that God requires all those to be made perfect by Him to undergo refinement, to have the refined faith. This is God’s second requirement for His chosen people. Whoever believes in God must have true faith in God. Faith becomes true after refinement, which is like that of Job, who was able to stand firm regardless of what trials befell him. The third requirement is that God requires us to follow Peter’s example, to have true love for God and become a person who truly knows God. This is also a requirement made by God at the early stage of His work. It is mainly written in “How Peter Came to Know Jesus,” through which God particularly requires man to follow Peter’s example, to pursue to know God and love God. The fourth requirement is that God requires His chosen people to have enough good deeds, because only those who have enough good deeds will have a good destination. God has made this requirement in the piece of His words “You Ought to Prepare a Sufficiency of Good Deeds for Your Destination.” The fifth requirement is that God requires us to pursue the truth tirelessly to know our own corrupt essence and enter ont0 the right track of believing in God. This requirement is very important, because entering onto the right track of believing in God requires man to know his corrupt essence. The sixth requirement is that we must resolve our transgressions, because only by resolving our transgressions can we truly be saved. This is a requirement God has made in the piece of His words “Transgressions Will Take Man to Hell.” This requirement is also very important, because no matter how you pursue in believing in God, if you have too many transgressions which remain unresolved all along, according to the words of God, transgressions will take you to hell. This requirement is quite important. The seventh requirement is that God requires us to be a person who is loyal to God. We believers in God should be loyal to God rather than to any people, matters, or things, and we are also required to offer up our final devotion for God’s work. This is the seventh requirement. The eighth requirement is that God requires us to be honest people. Because God is pleased with honest people, only by being an honest person can we truly receive salvation. The ninth requirement is that God requires us to pursue to be made perfect. God requires us to enter into all truths and become witnesses of God. The tenth requirement is that the chosen people of God must understand the disposition of God and know the practical God on earth. These are the most important things God has required of us, which are also the ultimate effects God’s work will achieve in us. God has made the tenth requirement in the two pieces of His words “It Is Very Important to Understand God’s Disposition” and “How to Know the God on Earth.” We see from God’s work that God has these ten greatest requirements for His chosen people. If a person has met all these ten requirements, he is undoubtedly someone who has been saved and made perfect. If someone has experienced God’s work but not met God’s requirements in the end, or if he has not met even one of God’s requirements, what do you say, can such a man receive God’s salvation? That is absolutely impossible. Not satisfying even one requirement, he is destined to be eliminated. To be sure, those who are eliminated are those who are to be punished by God.

The Requirements Those Who Serve God Must Meet and How to Serve in Accordance With God’s Will

Holy Spirit,testimony,Jesus,Christ,God's word,
The Requirements Those Who Serve God Must Meet
What must those who serve God possess so that their service of God is in accordance with God’s requirements? Let’s take a look at what the words of God say. In “How to Serve in Harmony With God’s Will,” God says, “Everyone who has resolved to can serve God—but it must be that only those who give every care to God’s will and understand God’s will are qualified and entitled to serve God.” All those who have resolve can serve God. The meaning of this is that God allows all those who are willing to expend for Him and cast everything aside to serve Him. However, to truly conform to the criteria, one must be considerate of God’s intentions and understand God’s intentions. Only then would one be qualified and entitled to serve God. This is a condition that absolutely must be met. Perhaps there are some people who understand and others that do not when it comes to being considerate of God’s intentions. Accurately speaking, to be considerate of God’s intentions means understanding what God intends to do in His chosen people. It means to understand what God intends to accomplish in His chosen people and what results He intends to achieve in them. If someone understands this matter, it means they have an understanding of God’s work, they know how God saves mankind and they know how to help God’s chosen people understand and enter all the truths and words that God expresses. This kind of person understands God’s intentions and they also know what God is most anxious about. This person knows what God most wants to do at this moment. This person also knows what kind of people God needs to cooperate with Him and how to do work that would achieve the desired results. Only those who feel God’s eager intentions, know what God intends to accomplish in His chosen people and know what kind of people God needs to cooperate with Him are genuinely considerate of God’s intentions. Since those who are considerate of God’s intentions understand God’s intentions, they know how to lead God’s chosen people to enter into God’s words, understand the truth and step onto the right track of faith so that they can attain salvation. That is why their leadership, their fellowship and their sermons are capable of guiding God’s chosen people into God’s word—it is effective. As such, their service is capable of fulfilling God’s intentions. Learning to be considerate of God’s intentions must be built upon a foundation of understanding God’s work. To understand God’s work, of course this person must first have a genuine experience of it. First, he must obtain the Holy Spirit’s work and have an understanding of God’s word and the truth that God expresses. Only then can this person be able to understand and be considerate of God’s intentions. That is why, in God’s work, those who are genuinely considerate of God’s intentions and who truly understand God’s intentions are in the minority. These are all people who pursue the truth and who have the Holy Spirit’s work. That is why they are able to achieve these results. Within the church, we can see there are many people that are passionate and who are willing to fulfill their duties and serve God. However, since their understanding of the truth of God’s word is inadequate, they are unable to understand God’s intentions. They do not understand God’s intentions and they do not know what aspects of truths God’s chosen people should enter into. They also do not know what God intends to complete in man and what fruits He wants to achieve in man. They do not understand these matters. These are people that do not understand God’s intentions. Those who do not understand God’s intentions, regardless of how passionate and faithful they are, they will only be able to fulfill a few duties. They are incapable of serving God. Those who serve God must understand the truth and they must be considerate of God’s intentions. This is a condition that one who serves God must meet. Another selection of God’s word mentions that the people who serve God must be God’s intimates and bosom friends. We should be able to understand just who God’s close friends are. We should know what kind of people can become God’s close friends. This is a crucial subject. When it comes to our interactions with other people, even though we know a lot of friends, there are very few who are close friends. What makes a close friend? A close friend is one who knows your heart. What is the meaning of “knowing your heart?” This means that you and this person in question have the same heart. This person knows what is going on inside your heart. He knows what your heart is after and knows your earnest intentions. This person knows what your heart is anxious about and they know why your heart is worried or in pain. Such a person is your intimate. If you are to be one of God’s close friends, you need to know God’s heart. If we are to know God’s heart, how would we go about doing so? Many people fulfill their duties outside their home. They can see that the work that God does is not easy. It is not easy for God to obtain people. Each stage of God’s work of saving mankind is considerably difficult because the corruption of mankind is particularly deep. Since mankind’s corruption is very deep, man’s resistance, misunderstanding, judgment and complaints when it comes to God are numerous. No matter what God does, it is difficult for man’s heart to accept. That is why, out of the entire corrupt human race, there are only but a few who truly know God’s heart, God’s pain and God’s distress. Therefore, it can be said that there are a very few people that are of the same mind with God. As humans, when we suffer, what is it that we most need at that moment? We all know that what we most need is to be comforted. Now, when God suffers, what does He most need? He also needs to be comforted. Man can comfort man by saying a few caring and intimate words. However, when it comes to man comforting God’s suffering heart, it is insufficient for us to say a few sentences. This would not resolve the matter. Instead, we must do a few concrete things. What kind of concrete things must we do? We must best fulfill our duties to satisfy God. In order to satisfy God, we must stand resolutely and bear witness. We must pursue the truth and achieve an understanding of God. If we do these things, then we will be able to truly comfort God’s heart. If we do not have some actual living out or testimonies to comfort God’s heart and instead we only praise God and give thanks to God with our lips, this is truly insufficient. All those who are able to really bear witness to satisfy God are God’s close and intimate friends. Thus, all those who pursue the truth, who fulfill their duties for God with devotion, and who can stand firm in their testimony when facing all kinds of trials, are people who are truly able to satisfy God’s intentions and comfort God. God also chooses these people to serve Him. God will call those who are devoted, obedient and bear witness to Him to serve Him. The Holy Spirit will touch these people’s hearts and move them to serve God. Since these people are qualified to serve God, the Holy Spirit specifically chooses these kinds of people to serve God. After someone has entered onto the right track of faith and has some actual understanding of God, they will be able to start to understand a bit of the truth and they will be able to talk a bit about some real and practical experiences. After someone has achieved this kind of spiritual stature, God’s chosen people will be able to benefit from this person’s work and they will be able to enter life in a practical manner. That is why those who have the reality of the truth, their sermons, their communications, their provision and the way they help and sustain people are all done with the Holy Spirit’s guidance and leadership. This kind of person will be able to serve God. This kind of person is qualified to serve God. While serving God, if this kind of person has a genuine understanding of God, then they will have a heart that reveres God. If a person has a heart that reveres God, then they will be qualified to serve God. Therefore, those who serve God are also those who genuinely obey the work of God. They are also those who have a true experience of the words that God expresses and who enter the reality of the truth. Since these are people that pursue the truth, they are people who have the Holy Spirit’s work. After they have attained the Holy Spirit’s work, they are able to gradually understand God’s intentions. They have a genuine understanding of God’s disposition and they have a heart that reveres God. This is why these kinds of people are those that the Holy Spirit targets for perfection. They are people that the Holy Spirit guides.

Why is it said that God’s two incarnations complete the significance of the incarnation?

Bible Verses for Reference:
“So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and to them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin to salvation” (Heb 9:28).
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (Jhn 1:1).
Jesus,grace,gospel,Bible,Holy Spirit

Relevant Words of God:
The first incarnation was to redeem man from sin through the flesh of Jesus, that is, He saved man from the cross, but the corrupt satanic disposition still remained within man. The second incarnation is no longer to serve as a sin offering but to fully save those who were redeemed from sin. This is done so that those forgiven can be delivered from their sins and be fully made clean, and attain a change in disposition, thereby breaking free of Satan’s influence of darkness and returning before the throne of God. Only in this way can man be fully sanctified. God began the work of salvation in the Age of Grace after the Age of Law had come to an end. It is not until the last days, when God has fully purified mankind by doing the work of judgment and chastisement of man for rebelliousness, will God conclude His work of salvation and enter into rest. Therefore, in the three stages of work, only twice did God become flesh to carry out His work among man Himself. That is because only one in the three stages of work is to lead man in their lives, while the other two are the work of salvation. Only if God becomes flesh can He live alongside man, experience the suffering of the world, and live in an ordinary flesh. Only in this way can He supply man of His creation with the practical word that they need. Man receives full salvation from God because of God incarnate, not directly from their prayers to heaven. For man is fleshly; man is unable to see the Spirit of God and much less able to approach Him. All that man can associate with is God’s incarnate flesh; only through Him can man understand all the words and all the truths, and receive full salvation. The second incarnation is sufficient to get rid of the sins of man and fully purify man. Hence, the second incarnation will bring to a close all the work of God in the flesh and complete the significance of God’s incarnation.
from “The Mystery of the Incarnation (4)” in The Word Appears in the Flesh
